2. How it works


          The core of a black and white liquid crystal display is a liquid crystal material whose molecular arrangement is controlled by an electric field. When the voltage is applied, the liquid crystal molecules rearrange, changing the light transmittance, forming a black and white image. Usually, this type of display uses passive matrix or active matrix drive, the former structure is simple but slow response, the latter response speed is fast but high cost.
